What is the best site for help with leveling books for a classroom library?

I am trying to start a reader's workshop in my 3rd grade classroom. I'm having trouble finding websites that have complete lists to help me level my books. Any suggestions?

Reply:Are you refering to the Guided Reading Levels? If so this is a great web site. When I was teaching our PTA purchased a membership for each teacher in our school at a discounted rate. You can do it as an individual also. It will give you the levels for books .

Books are leveled differently according to which system you may use. For instance there's the Heineman system, ( Irene Fountas and Gay Su Pinnell), which you can get info about at the link below.

A good link that describes Guided Reading / Balanced Literacy Programs is at--

This link will enable you to view many titles of children's books and their levels according to different publishers.
