Do you know of any good books that would interest my tastes?

I enjoy books about mental health issues, paranormal ghost activities, crime scene investigations or murder (not the CSI books I already read those) and anything interesting about questioning religion. It would be very helpful if you gave me a list of books from each category of interest, but if you can't that's fine too. Thanks.

Reply:I like all of the catagories you do too, and I'm sure you have already read these but I love the Patricia Cornwall series (you should start with the first book and read them in order) and I really really like the Ghost Walkers series by Christine Feehan. Those are really good books. You should read them in this order though. Shadow Game, Mind Game, Night Game, Conspiracy Game, and Deadly Game.
Reply:If you can wade through it, "Is God Dead?" by Hans Kung may be what you are looking for (that book got him excommunicated)
Reply:Try anything by Ayn Rand
Reply:You might check out www.MonthlyReaders.com they offer a list of upcoming books and a great Readersbox That I ordered last month. It's worth it to check it out.
Reply:My favorite book which has a strong mental health storyline is "I know this much is true" by Wally Lamb. It's about identical twin brothers; one of which is schizophrenic. Great read. For crime scene investigations try any of the "Prey" books by John Sanford. The hero is Lucas Davenport. He rocks out loud! Happy reading!
Reply:Mental Health: "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest", "The Catcher in the Rye," "I Am the Cheese," and "The Color of Water" (note: 'Color of Water" is more about an identity crises than general mental health problems)

Paranormal: "Supernatural" series, "Circ Du Freak," and "The Mediator" (note: haven't read "the mediator," but I hear it's good)

Murder: anything by Agatha Christi ("Ten Little Indians," and "Murder on the Orient Express," "ABC Murders")

Questioning Religion: His Dark Materials Trilogy by Philip Pullman
