Where is a good place to find good pop flute books?

I need to find a book for flute lessons, but all the books seem to have only a few good songs, and the rest of them i've never heard of before.

You do necessarily need a piano book. You could probably use a piano book just as easily and they're a lot more readily available. You won't even have to transpose, since they're both in C. All you need to do is read the melody on the treble line...just make sure that the melody is within the range of your instrument.





I did this in college on vibraphone and it worked out great...it should work find for the flute as well.

Reply:Unless you live in a city, there are not many music stores. I advise looking online. You may not see the entire book, but there is a lot more to choose from.
