What are some good books do u recommend me?

I'm 14 and I love reading a lot but lately I can't find a book that grabs my attention! Any good books? Please dont mention Narnia, harry potter or lord of the rings!

What are some good books do u recommend me?
Stephen King has written a long list of best selling novels. I'd especially recommend: Firestarter, Eyes of the Dragon, Insomnia, Hearts in Atlantis, Needful Things, The Green Mile, and his Dark Tower Series. He is known as the "master of horror", but not all of his books feature monsters in the classic vampire/werewolf/shape-shifter variety. They are all well written tales of good vs. evil with compelling characters and thought provoking scenarios. I'm not generally a fan of the horror genre, but I've read all of his novels and short stories because his work is so entertaining (even if some of it scared me). I like how he incorporates humor and real world fears into his work, like snakes, spiders, and nefarious scientists and ruthless government officials/ authority figures.
Reply:You're welcome! I know what you mean, I wasn't thrilled with the cliffhanger ending either. It wasn't one of my favorite books. But, the other ones I listed are a lot better. Report It

Reply:The Power of One. Bryce Courtenay. Fabulous book. Also try the wizard of earth sea.
Reply:The Earthsea Quarter by Ursula Le Guin is excellent and will keep you hanging out for more.
Reply:When I was your age I was really into the VC Andrews books. There were like 5 sets of 4 %26amp; 5 books. They're usually about misfortunate girls having to grow up into decent women despite having to deal with issues like family bs, rape, incest %26amp; taking care of younger siblings. I tried re-reading one about 10 years later %26amp; it seemed childish to me even though the scenarios are so grown up.

They say when you read a book it stays with you forever. Maybe some very different coming of age stories are they best for you right now to help you decide just who you are and who you want to be when as you get through this part of your life. It's never to early to start making intelligent choices to educate yourself further in every aspect of your life.

The best book I have ever read in my life, teaches of real life experiences that can happen anywhere to anybody, female or male, and transactions we have to make as we grow up and into different environments.

I dont want to give the rest away.

You can get the book at any Barnes and Noble for around fifteen dollars.

Good luck!!!
