What are some good books for summer reading?

My daughter is an incoming 2nd grader, she is an excellent reader. We have a summer reading program at our church as well as our public library. I would like to get her to read some books that may take her up to 2 weeks to read, by reading everyday for 30 or so minutes. But I'm not sure which books are appropriate for her grade level. I don't want her to check out something that is too long that she will get frustrated and bored, but not something so short that she will be done in a couple of days.

What are some good books for summer reading?
Here are some series of books:

1. Magic Tree House by Mary Pope Obsorne

2. Pixie Tricks by Tracy West

3. Frog and Toad Series

4. Henry and Mudge Series

5. Junie B. Jones by Barbara Park

6. Amelia Bedilea Books

7. Katie Kazoo Series

8. My Crazy School Series

My little brother is in 2nd grade and these are some of the series that he likes and some are what I liked when I was in 2nd grade. They are all chapter books made for 2nd and 3rd graders. Hope I helped and good luck :)
