What are good books and websites for identifying insects by species?

I'd like books/websites that identify insects specifically, with large and clear pictures of them and the name of the species.

Thanks in advance.

You really need to specify which continent you are looking for. Since I'm in North America, I use the Field Guide to Insects and Spiders by the National Audubon Society. It's around $25 U.S. dollars. There are also some Pocket Naturalist lamenated brochures by the Waterford Press that you can get at any bookstore - I'd look for the one called Bugs and Slugs. It runs about $6.00. As for websites, it really depends on what insects you are looking to identify. You may find that the links below are helpful for identification.
