What company should I use to send a box of books from the US to the Philippines?

I wish to send a very heavy box of books to the Philippines. What company or service should I use to do this? Are there any other things I should keep in mind? Any idea on cost? It's my first time sending something internationally. Thank you for your time.

"Forex is the leader in Balikbayan Box services in the US and in the world. With agents and offices spread out in seven countries in 5 continents, Forex has been delivering boxes and love from overseas Filipinos to their loved ones in the Philippines for over 20 years. Definitely the most reliable name in the business, Forex delivers more than 500,000 balikbayan boxes a year, door-to-door, heart-to-heart. "

Reply:Use the balikbayan box way. They furnish the box, there are several standard sizes. and when you're ready they come over to pick it up. Usually they travel by sea, and the best part is that you do not pay by the weight, but by the box and delivery location (Manila is cheaper than Mindanao). (At least that's the way it worked for me sending from Taiwan to the Fils).
Reply:Hey Allan, what's forex, FOREIGN EXCHANGE???

Although I don't have idea on the costs, the cheapest is through USPS.

I would also recommend Johnny Air Cargo.
