Can anyone recomend any good books relating to public discourse, administrative arts, economics, law, propaganda, and other things related to politics?
What are some good books for aspiring politicians?
Manufacturing Consent by Noam Chomsky
Das Kapital by Karl Marx
The Prince by Machiavelli
Discipline and Punish: The Birth of the Prison by Michel Foucault
Are but a few....
Reply:Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. It's basically about what would happen if the people who pay the bills (taxpayers) decided to join the unskilled masses mooching off the government because under an oppressive tax system, it became counterproductive to work for a living.
