I have many collectible books in mint condition on movie memorabilia that include many classic movie stars. Is there anywhere I can go to sell these books other than online sources through the mail? I live in Pennsylvania in Berks county.
Is there a place where I can go to to sell books without going online? I have many collectilble books to sell.
Look for book stores in the yellow pages of the phone book. Also some antique stores will take very old books.
I'm sure there is a book store in Philly that you would be able to go to. If I'm not mistaken there is one on South Street.
Reply:In particular, there's a national chain called Half Price Books that will purchase used literature.
Thing is, selling to a physical bookseller will get you the lowest sale price. Half.com (an ebay subsidiary) is the place that will get you the highest regular price; if the book is particularly rare and desirable, ebay auction would be the way to go.
Reply:I don't live in your area but to answer generally, most cities have used/antique bookstores that buy collectibles, you may just want to start calling your local stores.
Otherwise, also try local antique auctions, if they really are of value to get the most of its worth.
Good luck!
